TENDERS: St. Andrew’s University seeks partner to build £20m wind farm

St Andrews university is seeking to appoint a development partner for some or all of the following: to Finance, Design & Build and Operate a Windfarm at Kenly, south east of St .Andrews.

Planning consent for the development has been obtained by the university based on six Turbines and a capacity of 12.3MW. Capacity factor for the site is c.32.9%

Additionally, an offer of connection to the grid has been obtained from the operator (Scottish Power Networks).

The university is keen to explore market interest to investigate possible options for a viable solution, and this notice serves to advertise this. Construction work is scheduled to start in May 2015
