Energy Action Scotland (EAS) is the Scottish charity campaigning for an end to fuel poverty. Two full time vacancies based in Glasgow exist.
Research, Information and Project Officer: Starting Salary £21,400
Responsible for producing analysis, reports and briefings, for conducting research, assisting with consultation responses, providing an information service and updating the EAS website.
Extensive knowledge of policy structures and of fuel poverty and energy policy agendas in Scotland, the UK and the EU is essential, as is the ability to understand and synthesize complex information and to articulate this in a straightforward way.
Training and Project Officer: Starting Salary £21,400
Responsible for delivering a range of training focused on domestic energy, renewable energy, energy efficiency and affordable warmth. The post-holder will also provide support for the delivery of a range of affordable warmth-related projects.
Experience of delivering training to a client group from a wide range of backgrounds and the ability to develop and produce appropriate training and support materials is essential. An understanding of fuel poverty/energy efficiency would be an advantage.
