Top lawyer speaks on planning consents at today’s 2015 UK Shale Energy conference

Shale Energy conference logo2Ewan MacLeod, a partner at the Shepherd and Wedderburn legal services firm, will join an impressive speaking panel when he presents on the current Scottish moratorium on unconventional oil and gas development at the UK Shale and Energy Conference (25 Sept)

The conference, hosted by the Scottish Energy Association and Scottish Energy News (and supported by OGIC and fatBuzz) is being held in Glasgow and will look at issues surrounding the production of shale gas, homing in on the continuing fracking debate.

Topics include The economics of shale oil and gas; Location and quantity of shale reserves, as well as legal issues related to exploration and extraction.

MacLeod said: “This event is a unique opportunity to connect with professionals in the sector and to share and exchange new ideas on issues which are currently very hot topics on the UK’s energy agenda.
