TWMA – which provides integrated drilling waste management and environmental services to the oil and gas industry – has kicked-off its sponsorship of Peterhead FC for the new season.
It is also supporting its local community by sponsoring the club’s summer coaching programme, which aims to help youngsters aged between 5 and 12 to improve their football skills and confidence in a safe, fun environment.
More than 60 youngsters took part over the three days and TWMA provided every child with a football t-shirt and free entry to Peterhead FC’s home match against Dundee FC.
John Morgan, TWMA’s Peterhead Site Manager, commented: “We feel it’s very important to give something back to the communities that we operate in.
“The Coaching Programme is a great initiative by Peterhead FC for youngsters during the summer months, helping them to develop new skills and the confidence to progress as they grow up. Peterhead is particularly important for us, as the location of our processing facility, and I’m delighted that we can support the programme and local children from this area.”
