Power and energy industry group, the Scottish Energy Association® (SEA) has added three new high profile members since its recent re-launch and re-branding.
The SEA aims to be the voice of the energy industry and represent its members; focusing on collaboration between companies; liaising with academia on skills for the industry; inform stakeholders and act as a gateway to improving industry, media and consumer dialogue within and beyond Scotland.
The Scottish Energy Association also organises networking events and conferences across the energy-sector spectrum as well as supplying customised and valuable market intelligence information to all members.
The SEA plans to reach more energy professionals who will benefit from these and introduce more new services.
Welcoming the UK Green Investment Bank (GIB), Heliex Power and TUV-SUD NEL, Hector Grant, Chief Executive of the Scottish Energy Association®, commented:
“Following our launch earlier this month we have had considerable industry interest and we are delighted that GIB, Heliex and NEL are the first new members to join the association. We know that many of our current industry members will be delighted to see these organisations come on board.
“We expect to announce more new members over the coming months and look forward to increasing our voice on behalf of all our members – past, present and future.”
Dan Wright, Chief Executive, Heliex Power, summed up its decision to join SEA:
“We’re delighted to have become a member of the Scottish Energy Association, a respected organisation that really champions the needs of its members.
“While the energy industry in Scotland is thriving, it is not without its difficulties and so we are looking forward to meeting like-minded organisations and individuals, learning more and also sharing our message at many of the upcoming networking and informational events.”
