The Aberdeen-based Wood Group international oil services conglomerate has won a $28 million offshore services contract in the Gulf of Mexico.
The three-year offshore engineering blanket order – by PEMEX Procurement International – is for field development in Mexican waters. The agreement encompasses deepwater and complex shallow water concept and basic engineering, and owner-engineer services.
The work will be performed by Wood Group Kenny and Wood Group Mustang and will comprise field development planning and engineering of topsides facilities; subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) and floating systems. Services will be performed on six following potential oil and gas field developments.
