2020 Climate Group events: ‘Fleet Savings: Cut Costs, Cut Carbon’

scotland's 2020 climate groupScotland’s 2020 Climate Group is running an event this afternoon ( 5 June 2014) on ways for transport fleets to ‘Cut Costs & Cut Carbon’.

Organised by its Transport Sub-Group, the event is being held at the Conference Room, Break Out, Assembly Room, Edinburgh  from 12.30pm – 4pm.

This event will provide practical and deliverable examples of how to cut fuel usage and costs for businesses – a combination of low-emission or more fuel efficient vehicles, fuel efficient driving behaviours, and better journey / route planning.

A range of low emission vehicles will also be on display in our courtyard on Thursday afternoon and there will be a BMW i3 electric vehicle available for test drives (bring your driving licence).

If you are interested in attending the presentations please register using the link below:

Also, the 20th of June 2014 marks 2020 days left until 2020 – by when Scotland must meet its ambitious carbon reduction targets.

Scotland’s 2020 Climate Group is marking the occasion with a facilitated networking event for SMEs and entrepreneurs to connect and network with 2020 Group members and other corporates and large organisations, and vice versa.

Businesses will be able to discuss their low carbon products and services, while building the contacts and networks needed to drive forward their businesses and helping Scotland achieve its 2020 targets.

The networking will be individually tailored to allow you to engage with the industry, topic or individual who you are most interested in.
