AND FINALLY: The un-official STEM guide to rock ‘n roll

The Blowfish – also known as the world’s only heavy-metal marine biologist – has become an unofficial ambassador for the STEM guide to rock ‘n roll.

The scientist-cum-guitarist has taken part in a new viral video which shows how the power of sound waves (cymatics) can be harnessed to make milk-shakes.

The rock ‘n roll-powered device is now touring British schools to mark the opening of registrations for The Big Bang Fair – a not-for-profit organisation that aims to get more more young people interested in STEM jobs.
