Renewable UK has elected Stephen Bull as its new chairman and Roisin Quinn as vice-chairman following the election of new board members last month.
Formerly vice-chairman Bull succeeds Julian Brown who stood down as chairman after six years.
Bull is currently senior vice-president for wind and carbon capture and storage at Equinor.
Roisin Quinn is head of energy strategy and policy at National Grid plc.
Bull said: “The renewables sector has entered the <economic> mainstream and our members secure significant infrastructure investments in the UK, as well as developing exciting technological and economic opportunities in the ongoing energy transition.”
Also at last month’s election, Matthieu Hue (EdF Energy Renewables) and Paul Cooley (SSE) were elected to the board.
