The Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation (ECCI) is currently seeking to recruiting a new core project team to manage the Centre’s brand new £1m Smart Accelerator project.
The new team will consist of Project Manager, Marketing Officer and Administration Assistant for the Smart Accelerator project (http://smartacceleratorscotland.org)
This project aims to accelerate the development and acceleration of major smart city and sustainable island projects in Scotland, based on international good practice and is geared towards integrating SMEs and academic expertise to maximise sustainable local economic development.
The aim of the project is to identify, support and accelerate the formation, packaging and financing of up to 12 Scottish project partnerships that support Scotland’s transition to a low carbon economy and society through creating smarter and more sustainable cities, communities and islands.
The purpose of each of the three briefs is to appoint an organisation and / or individuals to enable ECCI on behalf of the Smart Accelerator project partnership to achieve and fulfil the objectives of the Smart Accelerator ERDF project.
This 18 month ERDF funded project is a collaborative project involving multiple public sector agencies and city authorities across Scotland including the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise, Highlands & Islands Enterprise, SCDI and the University of Edinburgh.
