The Energy North Conference 2014 – being held in Inverness on 10-11 February – is the first of its kind in the North.
Encompassing oil, gas and renewables, the conference will examine ways in which the industry can work together to improve as a whole, looking at best practise in each of these areas across the whole industry.
Examining technology and innovation, manufacturing and installation as well as expertise, skills, resources and infrastructure, the Energy North Conference 2014 will consider how industry can share knowledge and collaborate to create a legacy for the North of Scotland and Islands for generations to come.
Energy North is a “not-for-profit” trade group of over 200 members in the Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy and Nuclear markets. Its area of operation covers Aberdeen City & Shire, Orkney, Shetland, Caithness, Sutherland, Ross-shire, Inverness, Moray, Argyll, Lochaber and the Outer Hebrides. This confirms the Energy North as the voice of Energy in the North of Scotland and Islands.
The North of Scotland and Islands are rich in Oil & Gas reserves, but also have excellent resources for the energies of the future – onshore and offshore wind, wave, tidal and hydro.
As a consequence, it is therefore rich in expertise and experienced supply chain contractors, some of whom operate successfully and competitively worldwide. Many of these contractors are members of Energy North.
Scottish Energy News is pleased to announce that it is an Official Partner to the Energy North Conference 2014.
The Energy North exhibition will take place within the One Touch Theatre which is where the refreshments and lunch will be served to ensure the best exposure for the exhibitors and to maximise the networking opportunities for all attendees.
