
Solar PV installer Campbell & Kennedy has joined the LHC Energy Efficiency and Refurbishment framework as an approved supplier to members throughout Scotland.
LHC is a provider of free-to-use framework agreements used by local authorities, social landlords and other public sector bodies to procure works, products and services for the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of social housing and public buildings.
Launched earlier this year, the new four-year framework has been developed to provide an range of energy-efficiency measures for social housing, community buildings, schools and other public buildings. The framework consists of three workstreams;
- Energy Consultants and Project Management
- Energy Efficiency and Renewable Measures and
- Energy Saving Measures and Refurbishment.
C&K carries out solar thermal installations and has installed more than 11 megawatts of solar PV across the UK, preventing the emission of more than 150,000 tonnes of CO2.
LHC Director John Skivington commented: “We are pleased to see Campbell & Kennedy appointed to our Energy Efficiency framework, as there has been are a strong demand for energy efficiency measures in all types of public sector buildings. The workstream Campbell and Kennedy will be servicing, allows us to offer local solutions for all project values.”
