An oil well project management company has underlined its confidence in the North East by opening a new office in Aberdeen.

Deirdre Michie, Chief Executive, Oil & Gas UK, officially opened the new office of Fraser Well Management, which covers  the full well lifecycle both onshore and offshore from exploration drilling through to well plug and abandonment.

The addition of the Aberdeen office to existing operations in Great Yarmouth is crucial in both broadening Fraser Well Management’s UK base and assisting in future ambitions to expand activities beyond the North Sea.  The company has a track record of 60 wells in its 11-year history.

The new office is led by Well Engineering Manager Donald MacArthur and it is anticipated that this will lead to the creation of new Aberdeen-based well engineering and support positions.
