A north-east safety services firm has formed a strategic alliance with EPIT, a hazardous and industrial areas training specialist, following industry demand for highly specialised training in Tayside and Grampian regions.
Falck – which has safety training centres in Peterhead, Aberdeen, Montrose and Teesside – can now offer EPIT’s hazardous area explosion protection training to the oil and gas and related industries. EPIT is an approved certified CompEx centre that offers the nationally recognised courses to electrical and instrumentation technicians.
Colin Leyden, Managing Director, Falck Safety Services, said: “We are always looking for ways to enhance our course portfolio as we strive to be at the forefront of safety training in oil and gas and other related industries.
“Having launched the specialised training programme internationally at the start of the year, we are now able to offer it from the UK, targeting the requirements of the North Sea market.”
