Oil & Gas UK, the London-based trade association for the offshore oil and gas industry, has made the three new Board appointments following publication of the bleakest survey of the North Sea industry since the 1970s (see chart below):

N. Sea energy companies still spending more than they’re earning –

Craig May, Managing Director, Chevron Upstream Europe, is appointed as a representative of the operator community bringing experience gained in oil and gas roles across the globe. He replaces Andy Samuel, formerly of BG Group.

Neil McCulloch, President North Sea at EnQuest, is also appointed to represent the operator community. 

Richard Mintern, Chief Eecutive, Northern Europe at Babcock Mission Critical Services, joins the Board representing the contractor community.
