Dumfries-based renewable energy consultancy, Natural Power has won the contract from NTR for the asset management of Teevurcher wind farm in Co. Meath, Republic of Ireland.

The Teevurcher site is currently under construction with Natural Power providing project management, owner’s engineer, ecological clerk of works and hydrological monitoring services.

Works on site are progressing, with three turbine foundations poured to date and internal fit-out of the control building ongoing.

Conor Sheehan, Head of Operations and Asset Management at Natural Power Ireland, said Teevurcher – comprises five German-built turbines with a maximum installed capacity of 10.25MW – is the second NTR project the consultancy has worked on in Ireland.

  • Meanwhile, Eneco UK has acquired a portfolio of 7.5MW operational solar PV rooftop projects from Kingspan Energy, a leading provider of rooftop solar PV in the Irish and UK market.

Eneco currently has two solar farms in England and five wind farms in Scotland with a generating capacity of 200MW
