Wind turbines take to the skies in Borders housing association community energy project

ces-board-member-david-newman-at-the-foot-of-hoprigsheils-turbine-3-with-t1-behindTurbine deliveries have recently been completed at the 7.5MW Hoprigshiels windfarm in the Borders to enable installation work to proceed.

One turbine has now been erected and two more are soon to follow – autumn weather permitting.

This joint venture wind farm is being jointly developed by Community Energy Scotland (CES) and Berwickshire Housing Association.
